Lam looked after us so well & kept us well watered with bottles from his ice box. He also had some treats for us too. He took us around Lady Buddha & we found out things about the park & statues we were not aware of. He made sure we got the right tickets for the Marble Mountain & Golden Bridge. We really enjoyed exploring Marble Mountain – the caves felt very spiritual & moving. You can take an elevator (small charge) but we decided to walk up…not that taxing/far if you are able bodied. This is not for anyone who has mobility issues as even once up using the elevator there are quite a few steps. Make sure you take water – which Lam will kindly provide for you & you can buy more while there too. The Golden Bridge was a bit too commercial for us but would be great for kids. Very much a theme park. The bridge itself is a feat of engineering & quite spectacular- just shame so many tourists. Cable car was good too – stunning views. Longest one in the world. Highly recommend Lam.

Lam was an excellent guide and driver. He taught us about Vietnamese religion, history, and took us to all the best spots. He spoke great English, was always diligently waiting, and even had a cold beer for us waiting at the end of the day. We had an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable day.

Our trip with Lam from Hue to Hoi An (option 4) was fantastic! We had a wonderful time, and saw all the sites in a calm and comfortable way. We never felt rushed or pressured, and had great chats along the way too. We would highly recommend this tour (and Lam).

Lam was very friendly, very organised, he was already waiting for us when we came out of our hotel, he explained everything what was planned for the day and a rough timeline. When we arrived at each of the attractions he told us some of the history about them, and then he went with us when we had to buy tickets. He told us where to meet him after visiting the attraction and he was always there with a cold bottle of water waiting for us. He was also a very careful driver. Fabulous day. The tour was great. We wanted to combine the Marble Mountains/Lady Buddha/Ling Ung Pagoda with Ba Na Hills/Golden Bridge without having to do a guided day trip for each. A pick-up and return transfer from/to Hoi An was also made possible for an extra 500,000 dong. The driver Lam contacted us in advance, was punctual, very friendly and had a calm driving style. His English was good and he was able to give us some information about Vietnam and the sights during the journey. We can recommend it!

Very enjoyable trip with our driver, Lam. He was extremely friendly and provided us with lots of information about Da Nang and the places visited. He also gave us recommendations for Da Nang and Hoi An. Great communication with Lam via WhatsApp and comfortable private transport. Golden Bridge was on the pricier side, as it is part of a theme park, but it was still enjoyable. Small charge to use lifts at Marble Mountain, but stairs can be used for free. Lady Buddha was free to visit.

Out of the attractions we chose, we enjoyed the climb and caves of Marble Mountain which was a bit more challenging than we expected. There are not enough words to thank our driver Lam! 5 stars for him are not many. He was not only super kind, on time, excellent communication, flexible about our preferences, but he acted also as a guide and told us all we needed to know about the places we visited and many more about everyday life and culture of modern Vietnamese! We were advised the day before by the agency to avoid Ba Na hills (golden bridge) since it would be too foggy and wouldn’t worth it. We insisted on going and indeed Lam drove us there, but they were right and we decided on the spot to not take the cable and Lam offered to drive us to Lady Buddha instead which was very nice! Much appreciated! The Water Mountain is a must see… very mystic! And for My Son there are no words! Loved it although it was raining the whole time! It’s a great way to visit all these places easily and comfortably in one day! If you are lucky, you get to know Lam 😊
